Scented Candle Making is the classic: you choose from gel or paraffin wax, blend a fragrance from the bar of oils, add colour, and pour into a vessel you keep. Matcha Candle Making uses natural soy wax with matcha for its colour and a soft green-tea scent — the one people gift. Ocean Candle Making layers translucent gel over sand and shells so the finished candle looks like a slice of beach. Every session ends with your candles cooling on the table while the host explains how to trim the wick and get an even burn.
Why people book this one
It is the most relaxed workshop we run. There is no drawing skill involved and no way to get it wrong; the host guides the fragrance blend so nothing ends up smelling like a cleaning product. It works for a date, for a small group of friends, for a mother-and-daughter afternoon, and as a team activity where everyone leaves with the same kind of thing but a different scent.
Where, when and how much
Weekends only — Saturdays and Sundays at 1:30 PM and 3:30 PM — at Rude Lounge, Ground Floor, Saraswati Kunj CHS, Jawahar Nagar, Powai, Mumbai 400076. Prices are per person and include the wax, wicks, fragrances, vessels and packaging. Any cover charge collected at the venue is shown on the event page before you pay. Book online; the ticket with its QR code arrives by email immediately.
Questions people ask
How many candles do I make?
Typically two in a session, depending on the type; the host will tell you at the start. Everything you pour goes home with you.
Is soy or paraffin wax used?
Scented Candle Making offers gel or paraffin; Matcha Candle Making uses soy wax; Ocean candles use gel. All are supplied.
Can I choose my own fragrance?
Yes. There is a bar of fragrance oils and the host helps you blend one you like.
Is there a group discount?
Yes — applied automatically at checkout: 10% for two people up to 25% for seven or more.
Do I need to bring anything?
Nothing. Materials, aprons and packaging are provided.
