Sip and Paint is the guided classic: everyone paints the same scene, the host breaks it into steps, and by the end thirty canvases look thirty different ways. Canvas Art Date is the two-person version — side-by-side canvases that work as a pair. Neon Painting happens under UV light with fluorescent paint, which makes the room, and your canvas, glow. Texture Art is done with palette knives and thick paste for raised, sculptural strokes. Fluid Art is pouring rather than brushing: you tilt the canvas and let the colours flow into patterns no one could plan.
Why it works for people who "can't draw"
Because you never draw. The host works one step ahead of the room, and every step is small — a sky, a horizon, a tree line. Mistakes get painted over. The drink helps, but honestly most people forget it is there once the canvas starts coming together. Groups of friends book it as a Saturday plan; couples book it as a date; a surprising number of people come alone and leave having talked to the table next to them.

Saturdays and Sundays, 1:30 PM and 3:30 PM, at Rude Lounge, Ground Floor, Saraswati Kunj CHS, Jawahar Nagar, Powai, Mumbai 400076. Prices are per person and include the canvas, paints, brushes and an apron; drinks are ordered at the venue. Group discounts apply automatically at checkout. Book online and the ticket arrives by email with a QR code.
Questions people ask
Do I need to know how to paint?
No. The host guides every step, and the sessions are built for people who have not painted since school.
Is alcohol included in the price?
Drinks are ordered and paid for at the venue; the ticket covers the session and all art materials. Non-drinkers are very welcome.
What size is the canvas?
A standard easel canvas you can carry home under one arm. It goes home with you, wet edges protected.
Can a group book the whole table?
Yes. Group discounts apply automatically, and private sessions for birthdays or teams can be arranged on WhatsApp.
What is neon painting?
Painting with fluorescent acrylics under UV light, so the artwork glows while you make it — and again under a UV lamp at home.
