Every Saturday and Sunday at 4:30 PM, a rooftop lounge in Powai fills with people who came to meet people. Hosted tables, curated games, no awkward icebreakers — and it is designed so that arriving alone is the normal way to arrive.

How it works when you walk in alone
A host takes your name and walks you to a table that is already mid-game — Codenames, Uno, Pictionary, a card game you have not played since college. The games do the talking for the first twenty minutes; after that nobody remembers being nervous. Tables rotate, so over the evening you meet most of the room rather than the four people you sat down with. Most tables carry on somewhere else afterwards. That part we cannot put on a poster.
Who comes
People new to Mumbai. People whose friends all moved, married or moved to Bangalore. People who work from home and have not spoken to a stranger all week. Couples who want to meet other couples. The room is mixed and mostly in its twenties and thirties, and the host keeps it that way — respectful, easy, and nobody is left standing at the edge.

Saturdays and Sundays at 4:30 PM at Rude Lounge, Ground Floor, Saraswati Kunj CHS, Jawahar Nagar, Powai, Mumbai 400076. Tickets are ₹599 for men and ₹299 for women, booked online with instant confirmation. Any cover charge collected at the venue is shown on the event page before you pay. Bring a friend if you like — but you genuinely do not need to.
Questions people ask
Is it okay to come alone?
It is the most common way to come. Hosts seat you at a table that is already playing, so there is never a moment of standing around.
What games are played?
Board games, card games and Pictionary — Codenames, Uno, quick party games. You do not need to know any of them; the host explains as you go.
Why are tickets priced differently for men and women?
It keeps the room balanced, which is what makes the evening work for everyone.
Is it a dating event?
No. It is a social night. Some people meet partners, more people meet friends — the format is games, not speed dating.
What time does it end?
Tables usually run until about 7:30 PM; many groups continue at the venue after that.
